The Space Man?
The Space Man (aka Kevin Glenney) isn't your average handyman. He's a full fledged aerospace engineer complete with commercial pilot's license, US patents, and lots of amazing adventures and creations.
Building and fixing things have been passions of the Space Man since his first encounter with a hammer on the hood of his dad's new '77 Chevy Nova when he was 3 years old. He's learned a lot since those early days - especially from his dad!
His aerospace career took him around the world working on projects like the Airbus A380, Embraer 170, Dassault Falcon 7X, and Bombardier C-Series commercial and business jets.
In 2009, the Space Man was featured on HGTV's Curb Appeal showcasing the complete exterior renovation of his then home in Minneapolis. The project included roof, gutter, siding, windows, landscaping, patio, garage and driveway updates.
In 2010, a 5,610 mile bicycle ride across Canada and the upper midwest led the Space Man to raising awareness and over $32,000 for Huntington's disease (www.twowheelsandaheartbeat.com).
In 2012, the Space Man landed in Denver with the express purpose of maximizing his bicycle and ski time. It turns out that's not enough to keep him busy, so helping homeowners create their perfect space has become his new business and creative outlet.
In Jan 2018, the Space Man moved to Northern California to work with Terrafugia in developing the next generation of vertical take-off and landing vehicles. On the side, The Space Man will continue to serve the custom furniture needs of his customers.
The Space Man holds a Master's degree in aerodynamics and propulsion and a commercial pilot's license with multi-engine, seaplane, glider, helicopter, drone, and instrument ratings. He also has over 25 years of construction and home improvement experience to make your space uniquely yours.
Attention to detail, pride in workmanship, integrity, and super satisfied customers are the Space Man's primary objectives.
